Universe
Lask (Valérie Laskier) builds a sensitive bridge between impressionism and abstraction. His painting captures emotion rather than form, translating the invisible into light, movement, texture. His painting captures emotion rather than form, translating the invisible into light, movement, texture. Each work is an open space, a poetic language between reality and imagination.

Art as rebirth
Valérie is a French artist whose life story is as powerful as her artwork. She started out as a journalist, but then cancer turned her world upside down. Two years in a wheelchair and a deep inner journey brought her to write a deeply moving slam poem, which is now used as a tool in the fight against cancer.
Her rebirth came through painting, an intimate language she developed with passion and audacity LASK creates her own colours, infusing the canvas with a unique energy that oscillates between abstraction and impressionism. She is a committed, visionary artist who transforms hardship into something beautiful.
Patronage
One of her most notable events was her first charity auction, which took place on 14 October 2024 in the Salle des Arcades at the Hôtel de Ville de Paris. 21 of its works were put up for sale to raise funds for the Paris branch of the Ligue contre le cancer (League Against Cancer).
Thanks to these funds, a week-long sailing trip was organised for teenagers with cancer, enabling them to enjoy an enriching and unforgettable experience.
