Valérie Laskier
Painter - Paris
Universe
Lask (Valérie Laskier) creates a sensitive bridge between Impressionism and Abstraction. Her paintings capture emotion rather than form, translating the invisible into light, movement, and texture. Inspired by the environment, memory, and intuition, she paints freely and profoundly. Each artwork is an open space, a poetic language between reality and imagination.
Art as rebirth
Valérie is a French artist whose personal journey is as powerful as her work. After beginning her career in journalism, her life was profoundly disrupted by cancer. Two years in a wheelchair and a deep inner journey led her to write a moving slam poem, now used in support of the fight against the disease.
Her rebirth came through painting, an intimate language she developed with passion and boldness. Creating her own colors, LASK infuses the canvas with a unique energy, balancing abstraction and Impressionism. A committed, visionary artist who transforms hardship into beauty.
Patronage
Among its notable events, its first charity auction was held on October 14, 2024 at the Paris City Hall, in the Salle des Arcades. During this event, 21 of his works were put up for sale to benefit the Paris Committee of the League Against Cancer.
The funds raised made it possible to finance a week-long nautical rally for teenagers with cancer, offering these young people an enriching and unforgettable experience.
