Valérie Laskier

Painter - Paris

Universe

Lask (Valérie Laskier) creates a sensitive bridge between Impressionism and Abstraction. Her painting captures emotion rather than form, translating the invisible into light, movement, and texture. Inspired by the environment, memory, and intuition, she paints freely and profoundly. Each work is an open space, a poetic language between reality and imagination.

Art as rebirth

Valérie is a French artist whose life story is as powerful as her work. After starting her career in journalism, cancer turned her life upside down. Two years in a wheelchair and a profound inner journey led her to write a moving slam poem, which she now uses to support the fight against the disease.

Her rebirth comes through painting, an intimate language she develops with passion and audacity. Creating her own colors, LASK imbues the canvas with a unique energy, somewhere between abstraction and impressionism. A committed, visionary artist, she transforms hardship into beauty.

Patronage

Among its notable events, its first charity auction was held on October 14, 2024, at the Paris City Hall, in the Salle des Arcades. At this event, 21 of its works were auctioned to benefit the Paris branch of the League Against Cancer.

Les fonds récoltés ont permis de financer un rallye nautique d’une semaine pour des adolescents atteints de cancer, offrant à ces jeunes une expérience enrichissante et inoubliable.
